Sunday night was a bit rough for both us and Sam & Kelly. We were enjoying warm, sunny weather up north when, on tv, we saw the storms near our homes. It was a stressful few hours until Shane's mom checked on our house for us. We were some of the lucky ones, at least we weren't in the areas hit by a tornado. But we still had golf ball and baseball sized hail that hit the house and damaged a lot of our siding. Our neighbors had a lot of broken windows on cars and homes, and we all had a lot of branches and leaves in the yard. We are the only home with vinyl siding in our neighborhood, and this will be the second time we have had to make repairs due to hail damage. It also looks like our roof will need to be replaced, and it's only four years old! I was most concerned about hail breaking a window and the cat escaping, or having our glass-top patio table broken. But of all things to survive, the glass table and the terra-cotta birdbath are just fine. We had a couple direct hits on a metal tube-style bird feeder though, it has some large dents. Along with the handle of our back patio door.
Anyways, I completely forgot to take photos while up north, but I did manage to get some cute ones of Joey today!

I had wondered how you weathered the storm, but never had a chance to check with you. I'm sorry you had all that damage, but at least you all are safe. How did you do with Saturday night's storm? We've been lucky enough to avoid any damage so far, even though both storms went right through our town, too.
