So, remember on that last post, from over a MONTH ago, how a mentioned that things were winding down around here?
Ha...that was one funny joke!
Soon after writing that post, I realized just how many projects we need to do around here in the coming months. For example, homemade Christmas presents (am broke because I do not have a job, but hey, they're from the heart, right?), Shane building a cabinet for toy storage in the family room, repaint the living room/kitchen area before Joey's birthday, plan Joey's birthday, plan a baby shower, and the list goes on...
ANYWAYS! To give you a fun, less rambling, idea of what we have been up to in the past month, here are some photos.
Joey has been helping do yard work, like mow the lawn with daddy.
He has also kept me in line with keeping the house clean. Not sure why we need a hard hat for vacuuming, but not for mowing...
We are having hours of fun hiding in closets, jumping out to scare the pants off people.
We are also building a dozen towers a day, just so they can be karate-kicked down, so we can do it ALL OVER AGAIN.
Joey is a great help with leaf raking. Actually, he is more of a help with leaf crunching, but whatever.
And we have been preparing for Halloween. Here are some photos of Joey at the apple orchard picking out pumpkins.
