4 month update

Joey had his four month appointment on Friday, wow is he getting big. He is now 18lbs 5 oz, 27" long. At his 2 month appointment he was off the charts on every measurement, but I am happy to say he is finally on the charts this month! Barely, but being in the 100th percentile still counts! He had another round of immunizations, this time he had a fever all weekend from them. Poor guy wasn't feeling so great and was kinda crabby.

On Saturday we did some major garage-sale shopping with my mom-in-law, WOW is she a garage-sale-shopaholic! She helped me get some fantastic deals though, like a meat smoker for $5. We got Joey some clothes for the summer, toys, and she bought him an adorable Little Tikes Race car toddler bed. Can't wait for him to use that!

We spent the afternoon over at my friend's house, Shane was helping with landscaping, and I was helping with food. Joey had a great time, we were trying to teach him how to play poker, but he just wanted to eat the poker chips. Of course, Shane and I both lost our $2, Brett and Brendan almost always win, but it's still fun to play!

We are off to see Joey's Great-Great Grandma, Great-Grandma Betty & Great-Grandpa Emil, and Nana & Grandpa (say that 3 times fast...) this weekend and take some photos of the 5 generations. We are so lucky to have such a large extended family to visit and spend time with. We just have a hard time keeping all the Grandparents in order!
